If you were on a deserted island.. what format would you rather live with?

If you were on a deserted island.. would you rather have CASSETTE TAPES or VINYL?

They both can be very shit but they both can be really good. Let's assume the tapes/records are in decent quality. You can choose whatever music you have, doesn't matter if it wasn't released on the format.

And, you do not have a cassette recorder.

Cassette all the way -- portable players, standalone decks. It's more versatile imo. Just make sure to let me take along a bunch of replacement tapedeck belts

The idea of rotting in the middle of a isolated island while Tears From The Compound Eye or some other soothing [pre twoism - music has the rights] BoC track blairs from a vinyl player would be one hell of a litteral once in a lifetime experience.
