Cool stuff! I would like to ask you, What OS will you install after you get all of the computer parts? Will it be WinXP or Win2k?

My only suggestion would be possibly a capture card, other than that it's pretty cool. :-)

For the Sound Blaster Live! make sure to use the drivers from the CDs. The ones from Creative's site seem to have some issues with crackly audio (especially with MIDI playback). I believe the CD drivers from either this archive or MDGx worked best for me. They have some fun audio effects too, with one of my favorites being "Drugged"
For the Value edition cards though, I don't think there's a good way to fix that... so try to avoid those if possible.

Everything else looks great for a mid-range setup :)

Thanks a lot for dropping by ;D
Yes, i put in my spare capture-card in the machine. TV Tuner, S-Video, Composite input.

Eeeesh, that's technical. Yeah, I can't find any SoundBlasters with the driver CD. I will try that CT4760 driver pack you sent once I get my hands on one of these cards!....and yea, the prospect of audio effects is certainly enticing.

By the way; I GOT THE RADEON 9600 PRO.. I will try and search around for new optical drives, floppy drive, and IDE hard drives.
